This summer, students from MVHS had the opportunity to use Fermilab as their classroom as part of a pilot program called Metea Accelerators. The partnership between the high school and a world-renowned research facility was designed to reach students not represented fully in science. Through hands-on activities, organizers hoped to give students the opportunity to see that STEM careers can be an option for any student.
